Registration and Appointments
The vaccine is free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore, which includes Singapore Permanent Residents, and Employement Pass holders
At the moment, only healthcare and frontline workers nominated by their employers are eligible for vaccination. Concurrently as part of a pilot launch, appointment slots are being progressively rolled out to seniors from 70 years old and above. Seniors will be notified by mail. Individuals in other priority groups will be notified when it is their turn.
Please note that your health will be assessed on the following criteria to ensure your safety.
For healthcare and frontline workers:
If your employer has submitted your details to MOH for pre-registration, you will receive a link to book your appointments with a unique booking code sent by SMS.
For seniors from 70 years old and above:
Vaccinations are being progressively rolled out. If you have received a letter informing you of your eligibility, you can register your interest.
Please call MOH at 1800 333 9999 for assistance.
If you have changed your mobile number or email address, please call MOH at 1800 333 9999 for assistance.
You may reschedule your appointments using the same booking link in the original SMS.
The Covid-19 vaccination is free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore and no one should ask you for a payment to register for appointments. The link that is provided in the SMS should go to "vaccine.gov.sg". Only government officials can register for a gov.sg domain. Do not trust any other URLs that are not from a .gov.sg domain.
When in doubt, you should check with the agency who sent you the message to confirm the authenticity before responding to the message.
If you have been assessed to be ineligible for the Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna COVID-19 Vaccines due to medical reasons, you may be able to get vaccinated later if data become available that it is safe to receive the vaccination, or you may be able to get vaccinated with other COVID-19 vaccines.
Upon successful registration of your interest , you will be sent an SMS with a unique booking link to make an appointment to be vaccinated. You will have 30 days from receipt of this SMS to schedule an appointment via the booking link.
Within the 30 days, you will have priority to schedule your appointment. If you have not booked a slot within the 30-day time limit, but are still keen to be vaccinated, you may re-register your interest and will be notified to make an appointment when there are slots available. You can re-register by clicking on the same unique link in the original SMS notification.
Please note that the 30-day limit applies to the time window given to make an appointment. It does not mean that you must be vaccinated within 30 days of receiving the SMS.
We aim to ensure that everyone who wishes to be vaccinated is able to do so at the earliest opportunity. As vaccine supplies are limited at the outset, holding slots for those who may need more time to decide whether to get vaccinated would deprive others of a slot.
While we have prioritised certain groups for vaccination, we will move on to the next priority group to give others who wish to be vaccinated the opportunity to do so quickly.
Vaccination Day
The vaccine consists of two doses, with the second dose due 21 -28 days after the first dose. You must receive both doses to have the full vaccine protection.
• Bring your IC for both appointments
• Please turn up on time
• Please wear short sleeved attire, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up
• If you are unwell, stay home and postpone your appointments
Please do not go for the appointment. You should only take the vaccination when you are well.
If you have not taken your 1st dose, cancel and rebook both appointments using the same booking link issued by SMS. If you have taken your 1st dose and wish to reschedule your 2nd dose, please call MOH at 1800 333 9999.
The vaccine will be injected into your upper arm. To make this easier, you are advised to wear short sleeves, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up.

You must receive both doses to have the full vaccine protection. Protection for a single dose has not been formally studied for the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 Vaccine, but based on vaccines for other diseases, completion of the recommended doses of the vaccine is required for long-term protection. To make an appointment for your 2nd dose, please call MOH at 1800 333 9999.
The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has permitted COVID-19 vaccines for Muslim use. Please refer to MUIS’ religious position on the COVID-19 vaccine for more information.
There is no evidence at this time suggesting that the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna’s vaccines do not protect against specific COVID-19 strains, including the UK’s new reported variant. HSA and the EC19V are closely monitoring this issue.
