1. You are medically ineligible for a mRNA vaccine regime – If you were previously invited to receive the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine under a special public health programme, you should follow the instructions provided in the SMS invitation to continue with the regime.
2. You are aged 18 and above, and have yet to take a dose of any COVID-19 vaccine – you may contact any participating Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC) offering Sinovac- CoronaVac to receive your vaccination.
Only who are medically ineligible for mRNA vaccines may consider taking the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine as a booster vaccine. The Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine is otherwise not recommended as a booster vaccine.

Vaccination Day
The dosing regimen for the primary series vaccination is 21 days apart for the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine, and 28 days apart for the Moderna/Spikevax vaccine. Two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty and Moderna/Spikevax COVID-19 vaccines are required to be fully vaccinated. A booster dose* is recommended to be taken from five months after you have been vaccinated with two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty or Moderna/Spikevax vaccines.
For the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine*, the second dose should be taken 28 days after the first dose, while the third dose should be taken 90 days after the second dose. Three doses of the Sinovac- CoronaVac COVID-19 vaccine are required to be considered fully vaccinated. Persons who had received three doses of COVID-19 vaccines as part of a primary vaccination series incorporating the Sinovac-Coronavac vaccine are recommended to receive a booster dose of either the Pfizer BioNTech/Comirnaty or Moderna mRNA vaccines. Such persons who received an mRNA vaccine as
their third dose should do so around 5 months thereafter. However, those who received the
Sinovac-CoronaVac or Sinopharm vaccine as their third vaccine dose should do so at 3 months
thereafter, due to lower antibody levels generated by the third vaccine dose.
*Sinovac-CoronaVac should not be used as a booster vaccination. The exception is for persons who have been recommended to receive a booster but are unable to receive an mRNA vaccine due to medical reasons, such as an allergy to the mRNA vaccine.
• Bring your ID (NRIC/FIN/Student Pass) for both appointments
• Please turn up on time
• Please wear short sleeved attire, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up
• If you are unwell or had fever in the past 24 hours, stay home and postpone your appointments
Please do not go for the appointment. You should only take the vaccination when you are well.
If you have not taken your 1st dose, cancel and rebook both appointments using the same booking link issued by SMS. If you have taken your 1st dose and wish to reschedule your 2nd dose, please call MOH at 1800 333 9999.
The vaccine will be injected into your upper arm. To make this easier, you are advised to wear short sleeves, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up.
Parents/guardians are reminded to ensure that their child/ward brings along documentary proof of their consent to the vaccination site for verification. The letter of consent required can be found here. A completed electronic copy of the consent form will be accepted as well.
For the 5 to 11 years old vaccination exercise, parental/legal guardian presence is required. Only one parent/guardian is allowed to accompany their child/ward to the vaccination centre if they are below 13 years old. This is to avoid congestion and ensure compliance to Safe Management Measures at the vaccination centres.

Persons who had recovered from COVID-19 and were fully vaccinated before their infection are considered to have completed their primary series. Persons who have not completed their primary vaccination series before recovering from a COVID-19 infection, are recommended to receive a single dose of an mRNA vaccine.
If you are due for your vaccination based on the schedules recommended in the national vaccination programme (e.g. to receive a booster dose about 5 months after two doses of mRNA vaccines), you may receive your next vaccine dose 28 days after infection, although you are recommended to do so three months from the infection for better effectiveness.
You are recommended to receive three doses of the Sinovac-CoronaVac COVID-19 vaccine to achieve vaccine protection and be considered fully vaccinated. The third dose should be received from 90 days after the second dose.
Persons who had received two doses of Sinovac-CoronaVac/Sinopharm are recommended to receive a dose of the PSAR mRNA vaccine to complete their primary vaccination series if they are not contraindicated to receive the mRNA vaccines.
To provide enough time for you to get your third dose and maintain your vaccination status, all individuals who have taken two doses of Sinovac-CoronaVac will be regarded as fully vaccinated for 4 months after the second dose, or until 31 December 2021, whichever is later.
Children who turn 12 on the day of their first appointment will receive the dose for ages 12 and above. Those who received the paediatric dosage on their first appointment will continue to receive the same dosage on their second appointment, even if they have turned 12 between the first and second vaccine doses.
For those nearing their 12th birthday and desire to receive the adult dose, they have the choice to wait until after their birthday to do so.
