The vaccine is free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore, which includes Singapore Permanent Residents, and Employment Pass holders.
Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and Long-Term Pass Holders aged 6 months and above are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccines under the National Vaccination Programme.
Persons aged 5 years and above who are eligible for their third dose will be invited from about five months after completing their second dose, to achieve minimum protection.
Parents/guardians of individuals aged 5 to 17 years will receive an SMS notification when their child/ward is eligible, to provide consent and book their child/ward’s booster vaccination appointment.
Eligible individuals aged 18 years and above will receive an SMS with a personalised link to book an appointment.
All individuals aged who are eligible for their third dose of COVID-19 vaccination may also walk in without prior appointment to receive their vaccination:
• Children aged 5 to 11 years may walk in with their parents/guardians to any Joint Testing and Vaccination Centre (JTVC) offering the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years before 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays, and before 12.30pm on Saturdays.
• Individuals aged 12 years and above may walk into any JTVC before 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays, and before 12.30pm on Saturdays.
• Seniors aged 80 years old and above may walk into any JTVC, Polyclinic or participating Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC).
Individuals aged 5 to 17 years will be required to bring a duly completed and signed hard or electronic copy of the parental consent form, which can be downloaded here. Parents/guardians must accompany their child/ward if he/she is aged 12 years and below. Children aged 13 years and above need not be accompanied.
Individuals who wish to receive their vaccination at the polyclinics or PHPCs are strongly encouraged to make an appointment with the PHPC to avoid long waiting times.

Persons aged 5 years and above should complete three mRNA or Novavax/Nuvaxovid doses, or four Sinovac-CoronaVac doses to achieve minimum protection.
Persons Aged 60 Years and above Medically Vulnerable, Residents of Aged Care Facilities
After achieving minimum protection, medically vulnerable persons and individuals aged 60 years and above are recommended to receive an additional booster dose around one year from their last dose. They can start to receive it from five months after their last booster dose. The updated bivalent vaccines are recommended for this. Both bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine or the bivalent Moderna/Spikevax vaccine are available in Joint Testing and Vaccination Centres (JTVCs). The bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine is also available in selected Polyclinics and participating Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs). Please refer to gowhere.gov.sg/vaccine to locate vaccination sites that carry your preferered bivalent vaccine.
All eligible individuals aged 60 years and above will be invited to receive their bivalent vaccine dose around five months after their last dose. An SMS with a personalised booking link will be sent to the mobile number that you had registered for your previous COVID-19 vaccinations, and you may book an appointment at any of the vaccination sites offering the bivalent vaccines via the personalised booking link provided.
Persons Aged Between 12 to 59 Years
Persons aged 12 to 59 years who are healthy have a lower risk of severe disease. Nevertheless, an additional booster dose around one year after their last dose will be offered to those who are eligible and keen to receive one more booster dose to enhance protection. They may walk in to any JTVC to receive their bivalent vaccine dose.
Persons Under 12 Years
Persons aged 5 to 11 years are not recommended nor eligible to receive additional booster dose beyond what is required for Minimum Protection.
Persons aged 6 months to 4 years are not recommended nor eligible for additional doses beyond 2 doses of Moderna/Spikevax or 3 doses of Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty at this time.
Children/wards aged 6 months to 11 years may walk in with their parents/guardians to any Joint Testing and Vaccination Centre (JTVC) offering the vaccines recommended for the different age groups before 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 12.30pm on Saturdays. On days where there is high demand for vaccination, you should expect a longer waiting period.
Alternatively, parents/guardians can also register their child/ward at https://child.vaccine.gov.sg. An SMS with a personalised booking link will be sent to the registered mobile number of the parent/guardian within three to five working days to book a vaccination appointment.
Children/wards below 18 years must have the consent of their parents/guardians to receive their vaccination. Those between the age of 13 and 17 years must bring a duly completed and signed hard or electronic copy of the parental consent form, which can be downloaded here. Those aged 12 and below must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Parents/guardians should also bring along their child/ward's identification document (e.g. Birth Certificate and Health booklet/Passport/Student Identification Card/Singpass) for verification.
Individuals aged 12 years and above may walk in to any JTVC before 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 12.30pm on Saturdays. Seniors aged 80 years and above may walk in to any JTVC, Polyclinic or participating Public Health Preparedness Clinic (PHPC).
Holders of Training Employment Pass, Training Work Permit, Work Holiday Pass, Special Pass and Short Term Visit Pass with a pass validity period of at least 60 days may walk in to any JTVC to receive their vaccination. The pass holder should bring along identifying documents such as your passport or approval of extension of stay in Singapore for verification purposes. No prior booking or registration is required.

We strongly recommend that you receive the mRNA or Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccines for your COVID-19 vaccinations in view of the lower efficacy of the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine.
Should you choose to receive the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine instead, you may do so at selected participating Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs) offering the vaccine. You should receive four doses of the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine to achieve minimum protection.
If you are medically ineligible for the mRNA and Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccines, and were previously invited to receive the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine under a special public health programme, please follow the instructions in your SMS invitation to continue with the regime.
You may book an appointment using the link from your existing SMS invite, to receive your vaccination at any of the selected participating Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs).
Please note that the Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccine is only approved for use in persons aged 12 and
above.

The Covid-19 vaccination is free for all Singaporeans and long-term residents in Singapore and no one should ask you for a payment to register for appointments. The link that is provided in the SMS should go to "vaccine.gov.sg". Only government officials can register for a gov.sg domain. Do not trust any other URLs that are not from a .gov.sg domain.
When in doubt, you should check with the agency who sent you the message to confirm the authenticity before responding to the message.
Children must cross the age of 6 months to be eligible for vaccination.
Eligible children may also walk in with their parents/guardians to the Joint Testing and Vaccination Centres (JTVCs) offering the vaccines recommended for the different age groups before 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays, and 12.30pm on Saturdays, without a prior appointment. On days where there is high demand for vaccination, individuals should expect a longer waiting period.
Alternatively, for children aged 6 months to 11 years who have yet to receive any COVID-19 vaccine, parents/guardians should register their child/ward to receive the vaccination at https://child.vaccine.gov.sg. An SMS with a personalized booking link will be sent to the registered mobile number of the parent/guardian within three to five working days to book an appointment at a preferred location.
Children aged 5 to 11 who completed their second dose more than five months ago are recommended to take a third dose (also known as booster dose). Parents/guardians will receive an SMS at the mobile number that was registered for your child/ward’s previous COVID-19 vaccination appointment, and they may book an appointment via the personalised booking link provided. Walk-ins are also allowed for this age group receiving their third dose.

Parents/guardians must bring along their child/ward's identification document (e.g. Birth Certificate and Health booklet/Passport/Student Identification Card/Singpass) for verification purposes, as well as a duly completed and signed hard or electronic copy of the parental consent form, which can be downloaded here.
Individuals can walk in to any Joint Testing and Vaccination Centre (JTVC) offering the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine to receive their three doses for minimum protection, without the need for prior appointment. Your child/ward will require your consent to receive his/her vaccinations.
For individuals who wish to receive the Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccine, parents/guardians may book an appointment for your child/ward to receive the vaccine at any of the 19 participating Public Health Preparedness Clinics (PHPCs) offering the vaccine. The list of PHPCs can be found here.
You will receive an SMS inviting your child/ward to take their third dose (also known as booster dose) when eligible, at the mobile number that you had registered with for your child/ward's previous COVID-19 vaccinations. If you do not receive an SMS notification around five months from the second dose, you may walk in to any JTVC offering the vaccine recommended for your child/ward's age group. Children aged 12 to 17 who are healthy have a lower risk of severe disease. Nevertheless, an additional booster one year after their last booster dose can still enhance protection, and they can receive this additional booster if they choose to do so. They may walk in to any JTVC to receive their bivalent Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine dose.
Individuals must bring along their identification document (e.g. Birth Certificate/Passport/Student Identification Card/Singpass) for verification purposes, as well as a duly completed and signed
hard or electronic copy of the parental consent form, which can be downloaded here.
You do not need accompany your child/ward if he/she is aged 13 years and above. However, if he/she is 12 years old or a student in a Special Education (SPED) school you will need to
accompany him/her, as per the arrangements for the previous COVID-19 vaccinations.
Parents/guardians who accompany their child/wards aged 12 years and under for vaccination will not be able to receive their vaccination together with their child/ward as the dosage for adults and children are different.
Vaccination Day
To achieve minimum protection, persons aged 5 years and above should complete, as applicable:
• Three doses of Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna/Spikevax or Novavax/Nuvaxovid; or,
• Four doses of Sinovac-CoronaVac*
These would be doses that were previously referred to as the primary vaccination series and the first booster.
After achieving minimum protection, the following persons are recommended to receive an additional booster dose around one year from their last dose. They can start to receive it from five months after their last booster dose. The updated bivalent vaccines are recommended for this:
• Persons aged 60 years and above
• Persons who live in aged care facilities
• Persons who are medically vulnerable and at higher risk of severe disease
Persons aged 12 to 59 years who are healthy have a lower risk of severe disease. They may receive an additional booster one year after their last booster dose for enhanced protection if they choose to do so. The updated bivalent vaccine is recommended for this.
*To achieve minimum protection, persons who had received the first dose of the mRNA or Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccines, but are medically ineligible to continue with the vaccines, should receive 3 doses of the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine.
• Bring your ID (NRIC/FIN/Student Pass/Birth Certificate and Health Booklet) for both appointments
• Please turn up on time
• Please wear short sleeved attire, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up
• If you are unwell or had fever in the past 24 hours, stay home and postpone your appointments
Please do not go for the appointment. You should only take the vaccination when you are well.
If you have not taken your 1st dose, cancel and rebook both appointments using the same booking link issued by SMS. If you have taken your 1st dose and wish to reschedule your 2nd dose, please call the MOH COVID-19 vaccination hotline at 6995 9199.
For children aged 6 months to 4 years, the vaccine will be injected into the muscle of the thigh. To make this easier, children are advised to be dressed in loose-fitting clothes which can be rolled up
or removed easily
For persons aged 5 years and older, the vaccine will be injected into your upper arm. To make this easier, you are advised to wear short sleeves, or sleeves loose enough to be rolled up.
Parents/guardians are reminded to ensure that their child/ward brings along documentary proof of their consent to the vaccination site for verification. The letter of consent required can be found here. A completed electronic copy of the consent form will be accepted as well.

The vaccine has been assessed to be safe for use. However, you may experience common side effects, similar to other vaccines. Most side effects are mild or moderate, and usually get better within a few days. The table below lists some common side effects that have been reported with this vaccine, and how to manage them.

- The side effects persist or get worse.
- The fever persists for more than 48 hours (2 days).
- Respiratory symptoms such as cough, runny nose, sore throat, shortness of breath or loss of sense of taste and smell develops.
- Heart or chest symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath or abnormal heart beats develops.
In very rare cases, this vaccine can cause a severe allergic reaction. Signs of a severe allergic reaction include: difficulty breathing, swelling of your face, throat, eyes or lips, a fast heartbeat, dizziness and weakness, a bad rash all over your body. If you experience a severe allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately. Call 995 or go to the nearest A&E immediately.

The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) has permitted COVID-19 vaccines for Muslim use. Please refer to MUIS’ religious position on the COVID-19 vaccine for more information.
For minimum protection, you are recommended to receive three doses of mRNA or Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccines, or four doses of Sinovac-CoronaVac regardless of any past infections.
For better effectiveness, you are recommended to receive your next vaccine dose three months after the infection or the recommended interval for your next dose, whichever is later.
Persons who have received three doses of COVID-19 vaccines, of which two or more doses of comprise Sinovac-CoronaVac*, are recommended to receive a fourth dose of either the Pfizer- BioNTech/Comirnaty, Moderna/Spikevax or Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccine to achieve minimum protection, unless medically ineligible for the abovementioned vaccines. However, they can receive Sinovac-CoronaVac as their fourth dose if they choose to.
Those who received an mRNA or the Novavax/Nuvaxovid vaccine as their third dose should receive the fourth dose about five months thereafter.
Those who received the Sinovac-CoronaVac vaccine as their third vaccine dose should receive the fourth dose at three months thereafter, due to lower antibody levels generated by the third
vaccine dose.
*Recommendations for Sinovac-CoronaVac should similarly apply to Sinopharm
Those who received the dosage for persons aged 5 to 11 years for their first dose will continue to receive the same dosage for their second dose, even if they have turned 12 years between the first and second vaccine doses.
Those who turn 12 years before their third dose will, for the dose, receive the dosage for persons
aged 12 years and above.
Children who turn 5 years on the day of their first appointment will receive the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine for children aged between 5 to 11 years.
Those who received the Moderna/Spikevax vaccine when they were below 5 years will continue to receive the same vaccine and dosage their second dose, even if they have turned 5 years between the first and second vaccine doses.
